Session formats

Sessions designed for real decisions, not just more information.

At Lapampamanagua Finance Academy, sessions are built around the moments when leaders in Italy actually make decisions: monthly reviews, project discussions, board meetings and conversations with co-founders.

Workshops

Build shared understanding of how your numbers work.

Working sessions

Use your real data to create views and “cockpits”.

Review calls

Keep your rhythm and adjust as your business evolves.

Learning time you can defend

Sessions are compact and focused, so they can live alongside the pressure of running a company, not against it.

Session types

Three main types of sessions, combined into one learning path.

Each learning track uses a mix of workshops, working sessions and review calls. The balance changes depending on your goals, where your team is based in Italy and how often you meet in person.

Workshops

Interactive sessions for founders and leaders to build a shared base: what your numbers mean, how your model works, where risk lives in your company.

  • Use plain language to explain how profit, cash and debt move together.
  • Map how each function affects the financial story.
  • Align on which signals matter most for your business in Italy.
Typical length: 2–3 hours Ideal for full team
Working sessions

Practical sessions where we sit with your real reports, dashboards and spreadsheets and turn them into views that fit your decisions.

  • Create a simple “cockpit” with 3–5 core views.
  • Redesign existing reports so they reflect how decisions are made.
  • Connect operational metrics with financial outcomes.
Often online, with your live tools Deep work sessions
Review calls

Short follow-up conversations that help you keep your rhythm, adjust your views and continue using the language you built together.

  • Review how your “cockpit” is used in meetings.
  • Adjust views as your business or market changes.
  • Address new questions from founders, leaders or finance.
Typical length: 45–60 minutes Online first

Structure & logistics

A format that respects time, focus and the reality of your calendar.

We design sessions around your existing meetings rather than adding a parallel universe. For many companies, the academy becomes the place where numbers and strategy finally meet.

In-person in Italy

Selected workshops can take place on-site in Rome or at your offices across Italy, depending on your team’s location.

Online-friendly

Working sessions and review calls are usually online, using your existing video tools and shared documents.

6–8 weeks

Typical overall length for a complete path.

2–3 hours / week

Spread across one or two sessions.

4–10 people

Ideal group size for honest discussion and focus.

What happens between sessions
  • Short exercises based on your own numbers, not generic templates.
  • Optional “micro-prompts” for upcoming leadership meetings.
  • Light documentation so new team members can join the story later.

Questions & next step

What if our schedule or structure doesn’t fit this format?

Many companies arrive with calendars that already feel full. The goal is not to add more noise but to use existing meetings as anchors. We adapt the sequence and intensity of sessions to match your reality, not the other way around.

Can we start with a single workshop?

Yes. Some teams begin with one focused workshop to test the fit and then design a full path based on that experience.

Do all leaders need to be in every session?

Not always. Founders or CEOs may join more sessions at the beginning, with other leaders joining once the core language is in place.

Let’s define your first sessions

Share a short note about your company in Italy, your current leadership structure and how you work with numbers today. We will suggest a first workshop and possible follow-up sessions.

  • We respond with a concrete proposal rather than a generic brochure.
  • Conversations are confidential and focused on your context.
